• AAA-NORCAP specialist trained Intermediaries have the skills and experience necessary to act as an initial contact between you and the relative you wish to contact.

• We recommend the use of an intermediary:

• As making contact with someone lost to you through adoption can be very emotional and an intermediary can offer support to both parties
• Making initial contact through an intermediary ensures the best chance of getting a relationship off to a good start
• As skilled support is available to you and to your relative throughout this potentially stressful period
• Our intermediaries are dedicated volunteers, many of whom have personal experience of adoption , and all are entirely focussed on achieving the best possible outcome for you and your relative.

• The invaluable voluntary contribution of our intermediaries' time allows us to minimize the cost of this service to £125.00 once your details have been are entered on the AAA-NORCAP register
